As a result, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Marketing Director to lead the brand and marketing agenda and help unlock the full growth potential of the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this is a pivotal leadership role in a private equity-backed environment, with a clear mandate; drive commercial impact, strengthen brand equity, optimise marketing investment and materially contribute to revenue and margin growth.
You will be responsible for brand strategy, national and local marketing, proposition development and shaping the end-to-end customer journey.
This is a commercially accountable position requiring strong P&L literacy. The successful candidate will clearly connect brand investment to revenue growth, margin improvement and customer lifetime value, contributing materially to the company's value creation plan.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the evolution of a compelling, differentiated brand strategy aligned to growth priorities
* Strengthen product and service propositions to drive competitive advantage
* Increase brand awareness, consideration and market presence across priority regions
* Develop and execute integrated national and local marketing plans
* Re-balance marketing investment to reduce structural over reliance on PPC while maintaining revenue momentum
* Embed disciplined allocation of spend across the funnel to improve blended CAC, payback and ROI
* Shape the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring brand consistency across digital and offline touchpoints
* Partner closely with the Head of Digital to optimise UX, conversion performance and marketing automation
* Develop lifecycle and retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn
* Build a scalable, high performing marketing team focused on profitable growth
The successful candidate will be a strategic yet delivery focused marketing leader with strong commercial acumen and experience operating in performance driven environments. They will understand how to balance long term brand building with short term commercial delivery and are comfortable influencing at executive level.
