Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our construction team. Responsibilities
* Operate concrete pumping machines safely and efficiently, ensuring precise placement of concrete according to project specifications
* Set up, inspect, and maintain concrete pump equipment, including boom pumps and line pumps, adhering to safety protocols at all times
* Coordinate with construction crews to understand pouring requirements and adjust operations accordingly for optimal results
* Assist with the setup of concrete mixers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to support concrete delivery and site preparation activities
* Monitor equipment performance throughout the shift, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed
* Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and hazardous material handling
* Document operational activities, including pump usage logs, maintenance records, and incident reports
Qualifications
* Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as concrete pumps, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
* Strong mechanical knowledge of concrete pumping systems and related machinery
* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles safely
* Knowledge of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations
* Ability to read technical manuals and interpret project plans accurately
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
