What you will do:
Working as part of the Scaffold team, as an apprentice Scaffolder you will:
* Erect and dismantle scaffolding to houses and, on occasion, blocks of apartments (up to 3-4 storeys) in a safe and timely fashion.
* Unload scaffolding equipment at the site.
* Carry out scaffolding activities at the site in line with the Part 1 & 2 Scaffolding training and TWUK procedures.
* Fix guard rails and safety netting.
* Complete scaffolding erection and dismantlement after a job is finished.
* Ensure that all relevant health, safety, environment, and sustainable development requirements are adhered to.
* Perform any other duties commensurate with the job role (helping out on site).
* Follow instructions effectively.
* Demonstrate great hand-to-eye coordination and a good level of physical fitness.
* Understand safe working practices.
* Complete any safety work required.
You will be required to attend College where necessary and complete all relevant coursework and exams.
What you will have:
* A good sense of balance and a head for heights.
* Organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A valid CSCS card.
