Overview
Support Worker required for evening shifts and nights - Southport - PR8. This is a creative and varied role. We are looking for a friendly reliable and sociable support worker to assist a spinal injury guy within his own home and out in the community. Based in Southport town centre.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with artwork and creative projects at home
* Supporting with visits to the gym and light physical activity
* Cooking and preparing meals
* Accompanying to daytime social outings such as bars with live music, cafes and other social outings
Ideal candidate
* Outgoing, positive and socicable, with a good sense of humour
* confident in the kitchen and able to prepare simple healthy meals
* reliable, trustworthy and respectful of the client's independence and preferences
* happy to attend lively social environments such as bars and live music events
Training will be provided
