They have over 300 engineers across the company and have recently opened a London office as they expand their international presence. Their 5-year growth plans involve significant expansion and progression opportunities. Your new role
As a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer, you will carry out engineering design, manage projects and small teams, and work on multiple projects, including multi–million-pound schemes. You will support directors by developing standards within the company, take the lead in project management, act as design lead promoting design excellence, and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have a strong technical background in project delivery, a broad understanding of building services principles, and a desire to mentor and lead engineers. Essential requirements include:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering/Building Services
* Proven experience (6+ years) in electrical engineering design within building services
* Experience leading and developing engineers
* Client-facing experience and willingness to contribute to business development
* Experience managing large and complex projects from inception to completion
* Proficiency with digital engineering tools such as CAD/Revit and Amtech, and experience delivering projects in a BIM environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Chartered status or willingness to work towards it
