The Role
The IT Systems Engineer Will Be Responsible For
* providing day to day support to a local user base, as well as remote support
* troubleshooting and triaging tickets, diagnosing issues with hardware & software, building laptops
* management of infrastructure (Wintel & Linux environment)
* monitoring storage and performing regularly / timely back-ups
* general networking (switches, firewalls)
* supporting the team with a variety of projects
About You
Applicants for the IT Systems Engineer role will have:
* broad IT systems, infrastructure, virtualisation (e.g. VMWare) and networking skills (preferably across Windows Server and Linux environments)
* a 'hands-on' approach suited to a small business / team set up (enjoys variety of 1st-3rd line support, projects and BAU support/monitoring)
* good communication and service / support skills
* good documentation and process improvement skills
On offer
Salary of up to £55,000 plus excellent benefits including pension scheme, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) etc. Note this is an office based role.
