Starting your Journey:
As a Painter, you will help deliver high standards and immaculate guest facilities. You should take pride in your work, work closely with team members, and have good health & safety awareness regarding hazardous substances, working at heights, and risk assessments. You should be capable of handling face-to-face and telephone customer inquiries.
You will have opportunities to create memorable moments for our guests, providing personal experiences they will want to share.
Within the housekeeping department, your responsibilities include:
* Performing effective painting, including repairs and preventative work throughout the hotel
* Ensuring all paint supplies match the designated colors and are used correctly
* Carrying out daily painting requests via the Hotel Service Pro system
* Communicating daily with the Executive Housekeeper about completed work
* Working flexibly to meet business needs
* Ensuring all painting complies with Health and Safety legislation
* Supporting Maintenance and Housekeeping with items from monthly walk rounds
* Assisting the Maintenance Manager as needed
As a Painter, attention to detail is crucial to maintain consistent standards. This role is vital to the hotel's operation and guest satisfaction. You should be a multi-tasker, efficient, self-motivated, and always approachable with a friendly attitude. We value your personality and believe it helps define Apex.
Your first day will start a structured 12-week training program to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Painter. We are looking for candidates who:
* Can deliver excellent standards
* Are self-aware and capable of self-evaluation
* Can multi-task and pay close attention to detail
* Have experience as a painter and decorator
* Know different types of paints and finishes
* Understand basic decorating and filling techniques
