Job Description
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
3. Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies effectively.
5. Maintain accurate records of transactions within the accounting system.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment or invoicing queries.
7. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.
8. Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as required by management.
9. Assist in month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
10. Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
11. Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
12. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
16. An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
