Health & Safety Manager - Airports / Aviation
Salary:£60,000 - £70,000 per annum negotiable plus car / allowance and package
Location: Site Based / Hybrid, London, Stansted, Birmingham

A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee projects within their Aviation team.
This role will cover multiple projects, including Heathrow, Stansted, and Birmingham. Travel and accommodation where needed will be covered.
Reporting into the Head of HSQE, the Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the development of a positive health & safety culture focused on accident prevention and improving safety for all personnel on-site.
Person Specification
* Demonstrable achievement in a similar role on airport / aviation projects
* NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent
* CSCS card holder
* A qualified internal health & safety auditor with experience in completing internal audits
* Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential
* Understanding of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits
* Knowledge of current and upcoming health & safety legislation
* Good presentation, written, analytical, and IT skills
* Training and presentation experience at all organizational levels
* Strong interpersonal skills to guide and educate/train others
* Self-confidence to build strong internal and external relationships
Role responsibilities include:
* Providing professional support and guidance to manage health & safety effectively, contributing to HSQES policies, standards, procedures, and licenses
* Representing the client regarding H&S interface requirements for contracts/projects
* Ensuring all incidents are properly reported and investigated according to standards
* Line management responsibilities for Health & Safety advisors
