Overview
Regional People Partner position within The Highbourne Group's Regional People team. This role is a maternity cover starting in October and focuses on partnering with regional leadership, branch operations and regional sales to drive people strategy and a great colleague experience.
Responsibilities
* Develop an effective coaching partnership with leaders to enable them to deliver their goals and accelerate the performance growth of their teams, developing their leadership capability along the way.
* Create people plans with key stakeholder areas to focus and deliver people activity requirements in topics that will add the most value.
* Build a map of talent to support career development, performance support requirements, and external recruitment needs.
* Act as a critical friend with operational and sales leadership teams to explore people and functional strategies to ensure activity is focused on key outcomes.
* Provide ideas and challenge, acting as a catalyst for change, and as an expert for implementing and embedding change using Business Behaviours as key underpins.
* Grow relationships with the wider People & Culture function to obtain necessary MI to influence the business area, while providing constructive feedback to central P&C teams to ensure an excellent People Experience.
* Develop understanding of why diversity & inclusion are valuable for business growth and build a culture of belonging and inclusive leadership.
* Measure and evaluate key metrics to influence people strategy.
* Travel to branches within the region as required, typically 2-3 days per week.

Skills And Competencies
* Urgent hire needed - immediate availability.
* Experience in multi-site environments, coming from retail, hospitality, or merchants.
* Experience in a matrix organisation
* Leading delivery of people projects with significant change and high cost implications
* Experience in a delivery-focused operational environment
* Analysis of data to deliver business insight
* Experience driving outcomes in challenging/high priority ER cases
* Drive and energy to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Understanding of current HR practices/trends and up-to-date employment law knowledge
* Studying towards or having CIPD qualification is beneficial

Travel
