Position: Lead Design Engineer Location: Deeside, Flintshire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite My client a global leader within the aerospace industry are on the hunt to find a fantastic Lead Design Engineer! Role and Responsibilities – In this role you will be responsible for leading the design and support activities of actuation products (hydraulic and electro-mechanical).

You will be fully involved in the full product life cycle for major projects for all major customers.
Other responsibilities include: Development and modification of design documentation Lead cross-functional teams and support problem solving and corrective action activities to resolve design issues, ATP failures and customer returns/failures Design of test rigs and equipment Experience or Qualifications – Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with extensive industry experience Experience of designing from customer specifications using 2D & 3D design tools, preferably SolidWorks.
