Qualifications

* Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration essential.

Responsibilities

* Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for paediatric patients.
* Work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans.
* Educate and support patients and families throughout the therapy process.

Rate: £24.00 – £27.00

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist specializing in paediatrics to join our team at Watford General Hospital. This role is crucial in providing high-quality physiotherapy care to paediatric patients within an acute NHS setting. The position requires immediate availability and will be subject to ongoing reviews.

Responsibilities:
As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist – Paediatrics you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for paediatric patients, both in inpatient settings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Additionally, you will educate and support patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and involved in the therapeutic process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall well-being and recovery of our young patients.

Qualifications and Experiences:

* Degree in Physiotherapy
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Acute NHS experience
* Experience in paediatrics, particularly in inpatient settings
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
