Our client, a well-established and respected civils and groundworks contractor in the North West, is seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join their growing team.

The Role:
As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of civils and groundworks projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and coordinating site activities and subcontractors
Assisting with site inductions, health & safety checks, and quality control
Supporting programme delivery and progress monitoring
Ensuring compliance with company and client requirements
Maintaining strong communication between the site team, office, and client representativesAbout You:
We're looking for someone proactive, organised, and with a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in civils/groundworks (site engineering, foreman, or supervisory background advantageous)
Strong knowledge of health & safety practices on site
Excellent communication and leadership skills
CSCS card (essential), SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred but not essential)
