SEN Teacher
Salary: £32,254 - £39,851 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Congleton, Cheshire
Contract: full time (permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Role start date: September 2026

Esland Daven School is an established specialist provision, supporting children and young people aged 8–18 with SEND and SEMH needs. We are seeking a committed and skilled SEN Teacher to work primarily with primary level pupils. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience phonics.
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
2. Experience teaching primary level across a range of subjects
3. An understanding of SEND, particularly SEMH
4. Experience of teaching at primary level
5. Experience in phonics
6. Strong inclusive teaching and behaviour‑support strategies
7. A clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
8. A calm, reflective and relationship‑focused approach
9. Excellent communication and team working skills
10. A commitment to learning, development and good practice
