How you will make an impact
As an Orderly in our Medical Imaging department at Cabrini Malvern Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team where we work closely together to achieve the best patient outcomes and provide a high standard of care. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to work and develop in a fast paced environment.
The role will be for casual shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend and Public Holiday shifts may also be available.
Key responsibilities will include:
7. Transporting patients, equipment and courier items around the hospital
8. Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff
9. Providing a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff
10. Contributing to the team, cooperating and communicating effectively
11. Performing cleaning duties and maintaining cleanliness of equipment
About you
We are seeking previous experience as an orderly (desirable), or experience within a similar work environment, however, additional training and support will be provided to the successful candidate. You will also have the following:
12. Previous Orderly experience desirable
13. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
14. Ability to take direction
15. Sound communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English
16. Ability to work in a physically demanding role
