We are an independent foodservice/fresh produce wholesalers in the Midlands and have a strong reputation in the market fo
r the consistent quality of service and products to the foodservice and catering sector.
We have developed from servicing a loyal account base regionally to coverage all the Midlands and our comprehensive range which started from Fresh Produce, now includes ambient, chilled lines and elements of frozen.
This diverse range allows to be able to provide a one stop solution to clients in both the profit and cost sector including pubs, restaurants, hotels, education and healthcare.
Due to continued natural growth of our business we are seeking to add to our successful sales team a further strong foodservice industry sales professional.
THE ROLE:
As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of between foodservice accounts.
You will have full responsibility for cross selling and upselling to existing accounts in addition to undertaking new business to add further clients.
You will be based from home and be responsible for your own journey plan but will also be expected to be a team player and work towards overall company promotions and objectives in addition to your own targets.
THE APPLICANT.
The successful candidate will be a strong sales professional with experience within the foodservice sector.
• Candidates are preferred to have sales experience working for a foodservice manufacturer or foodservice wholesaler.
• Candidates with a background as a head chef or with a catering qualification with field sales experience in other vertical sectors will also be considered.
• Candidates must be strong team player, work effectively to targets and be driven to succeed within a sales environment.
