Hays Senior Finance are working with an ambitious SME business in the Worcester area as they seek a Management Accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. Our client is an innovative, privately-ownedpany that balances purpose with performance and every product purchased supportsmunity wellbeing and mental health initiatives.
Your new role
As the business navigates a period of change, you will provide invaluable and hands-on day-to-day management accounting support whilst helping with the implementation of a new ERP system.
Main duties:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet reporting
2. Provide variance analysis andmentary to support decision-making
3. Partner with non-finance teams to understand and explain drivers of business performance
4. Support refinements and improvements to financial processes
5. Help with the implementation/optimisation of Business Central into the finance function
What you'll need to succeed
6. Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
7. Proven track record in management accounting roles, preferably within an SME setting
8. Experience using Business Central/MS Dynamics 365 (non-negotiable)
9. Retail/manufacturing background (highly advantageous)
10. Excellentmunication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels
