Residential Conveyancing Secretary / Paralegal
Location: Near Redditch
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (on-site role)
A well regarded national law firm are recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join a busy and well-established law firm at their office near Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly alongside the Head of Property Services, supporting them throughout the residential conveyancing process.
The Role
The successful candidate provide vital support including:
* Drafting SDLTs, Replies to Requisitions, and Transfer Deeds
* Handling basic enquiries and producing case management letters
* Managing AML on-boarding procedures
* Opening and closing files
* Liaising with agents and clients, providing updates by phone
* Undertaking a full range of secretarial and paralegal duties to assist the department
About You
To be considered, you must have:
* 2 years' minimum experience within Residential Conveyancing
* Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and documentation
* Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and typing skills
* Strong organisational ability, able to prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy department
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
