Main job purpose: Responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective Sales delivery function for ETSUK & ET Construction business operations, working closely with the Service Manager and Service team to maximise business performance. Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for identifying New Business opportunities inclusive of Mechanical, Electrical and Biological Service capabilities and Greenfield Biogas Projects.
· Responsible for making sound engineering assessments whilst onsite, providing cost effective solutions and seeing sold works through to completion in conjunction with the Service Manager.
· Responsible for compiling and submitting Quotations to customers in agreed Company Format along with follow up on raised quotations following submittal.
· Responsible for effective communications with the Service manager and team & Technical Sales Support for New Built Projects .
· Responsible for liaison with existing and new onsite customer contacts and planning of own diary.
· Review current business sales systems and identify any potential improvements.
· To provide the Service Manager with a Monthly Report detailing potential opportunities and work in progress.
· Attend industry Expo's and organise ETSUK booth inclusive of marketing material and manpower.
· Build on current supplier base and review rates for any potential ongoing cost savings.
· Be aware of any future annual sales target and strive to hit or surpass said target.
· Continuously monitor the AD industry for New Technologies and innovations.
· Work with the Service Manager on Existing contract Renewals.
· Submission of reports and expense claims in accordance with Company guidelines.
* Responsible for setting up of New Customer accounts via account application and confirmation via company accountants.
* Be aware of the company monthly Debtors report and chase any outstanding payments associated with direct sales to completion.
· Ensure Company Car and Appearance is in line with company expectations.
· Equipment provided is suitably maintained and stored appropriately.
* Highlight and report any deficiencies within the department and put forward reasonable recommendations.
· Ensure all accidents and near misses within the department are reported to the Service Manager.
· Facilitate any Apprentice "On the job" training.
* To attend departmental meetings, training courses, etc., as and when required home and abroad.
· Carry out any other duties as directed by the Service Manager or any reasonable request by the management of Envitec Biogas Service Ltd.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Sound secondary education.
* Clean driving License.
* Ideally Time Served from a nationally recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
* Hold suitable Engineering Qualifications Mech/Elec C&G, NVQ to HNC.
* Ability to demonstrate electrical/mechanical aptitude with proven track record of application of electrical/mechanical principles
* Must have Knowledge of Construction industry Procedures and Standards along with CDM
* CHP Engine, Pumps, Electrical, Pneumatics, AD Industry Knowledge desirable.
* Able to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills including report writing
* Familiar with or willing to learn the Basic Biological Principles of AD in order to confidently be able to sell it as a Service product, in house training provided.
* Customer service focused
* Good numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
* Good problem solving skills
* Methodical and flexible approach, nights out and overseas training part of the role.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Able to work both in a team or individually.
* Good telephone manner and ability to handle calls from customers.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Competent in Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet.
