An opportunity has arisen for a Logistics role within the Logistics Stores area of the Shrewsbury business. This role is designed for a versatile individual to support various functions in the Logistics Stores department at the specified grade. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and persistent, aiming to become experts in all processes within the Shrewsbury Logistics team.

Pay Rate and Hours:
* Monday - Thursday, 07:30AM - 17:15PM
* £12.86 per hour
Overtime is available at the company's discretion, with Friday to Sunday paid at premium rates.
The role requires the candidate to be self-sufficient in daily activities, including relevant screen work and vehicle licenses/experience. Additional training will be provided if needed.
The position reports to the Logistics Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support various departmental areas such as PI, Goods Inwards, Carousel, Lineside water-spider roles, Core Receiving, Kitting, and Vixen Wash
* Drive on-site vehicles, including ramp training
* Participate in stock takes at the Shrewsbury Facility
* Contribute to Logistics process improvement projects and support RCCA activities
* Handle QAD-EE transactions related to logistics processes
* Assist in packaging engines and transmissions
* Support shrink wrap activities
* Train new team members
Desired Skills and Attributes:

* Strong planning, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills
* Proactive safety mindset
* Computer literacy, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
* Understanding of logistics maintenance screens within QAD-EE
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, BOM structures, and material allocation
* Ability to improve reporting mechanisms
* Valid licenses to operate on-site vehicles (Bradshaw, Counter Balance, Pivot Truck)
* Commitment to value-added and cost reduction activities
