EXPECTED ACTIVITIES
* Lead the progress of current and future technology projects within the UK R&T programs.
* Lead the technical discussions with the partners involved.
* Structure the projects in collaboration with a program manager.
* Animate a team of designers, provide technical guidance, validate their designs and deliverables.
* Allocate and follow up the suppliers activities
DELIVERABLES
He/She and have proficiency with the use of CAD softwares such as CATIA V5 and 3Dexperience. The requested area of expertise is the design of electrical harnesses in an aeronautical environment. The engineer shall have strong experiences of R&T environment and procedures, tests processes, design and production of demonstrator elements, technological choice methodology.
The deliverables to be produced may include:

* 2D Drawings
* TRL Justification dossier
* Test plan
* Test reports
* Study reports
* Engineering notes
* Technologies comparison
PROJECT AND TEAM LEAD ACTIVITIES
As such, He/She is the guarantor of the quality of the deliverables requested by the projects and will organise the team and its workload in order to reach the programme planning objectives.
The role requires to:
* Ensure the quality of the deliverables and validate it.
* Identify training needs, train the team if necessary
* Solve any technical issues encountered by the team
* Report the progress, issues, results to his hierarchy
* Ensure that the quality, methods and internal regulations are met
* Be the technical focal point to the partners of the project
* Coordinate the project stakeholders
* Evaluate technical and project risks
* Participate in the construction of projects up to their completion
* Relays information from the company management to the team
