In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Site Engineering Manager and lead our maintenance team to ensure top-notch equipment and facilities upkeep. Your mission? Maximize machine availability and meet compliance requirements while delivering exceptional value!
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Health & Safety: Champion safety standards and ensure all maintenance activities comply with policies and legislation.
* Maintenance Oversight: Manage weekly schedules, urgent repairs, and daily maintenance to support continuous plant operations.
* Asset Care: Deliver and monitor the maintenance program using KAMS KPIs to reduce downtime through planned maintenance.
* Team Leadership: Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance reviews, and training plans.
* Inventory & Budget: Optimize spare parts inventory and manage the maintenance budget for cost-effective operations.
* Communication: Collaborate with production teams and lead regular meetings to align on priorities and performance.
* Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical and compliance records.
* Contractor Management: Oversee external contractors, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
At Kerry, we value diverse career paths and experiences. To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Electrical or mechanical relevant Trade qualification, diploma, or degree.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
* 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
* A proven track record of building solid working relationships.
* Knowledge of maintenance best practices and CMMS systems.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Good technical analysis ability and proficiency in report writing.
* Full proficiency in interpreting CAD drawings for electrical, mechanical, and facilities applications.
* Fluency in English.
* Food industry knowledge & CAD and programming skills are highly desirable.
