Class 2 Moffett DriverAndover, Hampshire5 - 10 Drops Per Day6am Starts£16.00 - £17.00 per hourWe are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Moffett Driver for our client based in Andover, HampshireThe successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all road safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers specialising in commercial driving and flatbed operations to contribute to our company's efficient distribution network.DutiesOperate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with company policies and road safety lawsPlan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients and distribution centresSecure cargo properly on flatbeds, ensuring safe transit and compliance with weight limitsConduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or damagesMaintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in line with legal requirementsCommunicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transitAdhere to all health and safety regulations, including load securement and vehicle maintenance protocolsAssist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followedRequirementsValid UK driving licence suitable for operating large goods vehicles (LGV) or HGV licence as required by the roleValid CPC CardValid Digi Tacho CardValid Moffett EntitlementNo more than 6 Penalty PointsStrong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UKAbility to operate flatbed lorries confidently and safelyGood communication skills for liaising with clients and dispatch teamsPhysically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when necessaryReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalismFor more information please call Nick Graff direct on 07827 351171Benefits:Free parkingWork Location: In personTPBN1_UKTJ
