Accounts Payable Clerk North Nottingham - on-site £27,000 - £29,000 Monday to Thursday 8:00am 5:00pm, Friday 8am - 1pm Eaton Syalon are working with a business in North Nottingham, to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this role is ideal for candidates who are looking for an office-based role, working in a supportive accounts environment and those who are looking for a "hands on" transactional finance position. The Role As a Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function. Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier invoices, and supporting the Finance team with day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Processing, coding, and matching purchase invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly Preparing payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on time Assisting with month-end processes and reporting Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies Process staff expenses in line with Company policy, Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams About You Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A proactive and team-focused attitude if you're a self-starter with a positive, pro-active attitude, looking to secure your next roleina supportive accounts environment, we'd love to discuss this opportunity further with you.
