Associate Electrical Engineer - Building Services

About you: As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead multidisciplinary (MEP) engineering projects from start to finish, positively engaging with the client and supporting them in achieving their goals. Our Directors will support you to lead all aspects of the project, including project team, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget, to deliver high-quality outputs for our clients.

We are excited to see you develop and oversee electrical concepts and design solutions. Then lead a project team to deliver detailed design to required standards, producing required design calculations.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

* A relevant qualification (Bachelor's, or Master's).
* A proven background in Building Services design, gained from working in a consultancy business.
* Working across multiple sectors that could include healthcare, education, commercial, residential and/or industrial.
* Experience in line management, recruitment and supporting people development.
* An interest in business development and networking.
* Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IES.

Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Building Services Manager – Mechanical & Electrical

The opportunity is for a Building Services Manager (M&E Manager) to play a key role in delivering high-quality MEP solutions across major construction projects in the North West region.

Key responsibilities include:

* Coordinate and integrate mechanical, electrical & public health (MEP) systems in major projects.
* Oversee M&E supply chain partners to deliver works on time and to budget.
* Review designs, drawings, technical submissions and carry out value engineering.
* Monitor compliance with H&S, CDM and technical requirements.
* Provide on-site support, resolve technical issues and attend coordination meetings.
* Lead and support commissioning, handover and close-out of building services packages.
* Maintain site travel across the North West.
* Work across multiple projects, maintaining strong relationships with site teams, consultants, and supply chain.
* Feed lessons learned and performance feedback into preconstruction teams.

Required qualifications and experience:

* Valid driving licence.
* Appropriate managerial experience in the services sector.
* Experience in a Building Services role or supervisory role in an M&E discipline for Operational Delivery.
* Understanding of all relevant M&E and services legislation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Experience on a variety of M&E projects across different sectors.
* Relevant Degree or Equivalent Qualification.
* Working towards MCIOB / MCIBSE / MIET.

Associate Design Director - Building Services

Greater Manchester, North West – £66,000–£86,000 annuously.

We are a well-established M&E Design and Build contractor seeking an experienced Design Engineer to head up the design team. The role covers mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design across commercial, healthcare, motor retail, and high‑security environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and specify mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and plumbing.
* Produce detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD.
* Support the tender process with technical input, value engineering, and risk assessments.
