Job Responsibilities
1. Ownership of balance sheet for UK entities.
2. Provide financial analysis and commentary to senior management regarding variances and financial trends.
3. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for the UK (Monthly closing leader).
4. Ensure the accuracy of internal reporting for group consolidation.
5. Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local legal, tax, including transfer pricing, regulations.
6. Responsible for local and group audit completion.
7. Maintain proper internal controls.
8. Lead and achieve UK statutory requirements.
9. Coordinate and report on company pension scheme finances.
10. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
11. Support external and internal audits with required documentation.
12. Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and quarterly forecasting for UK operations.
13. Develop financial models and projections for business planning and decision-making.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a technically strong, qualified accountant with experience in audit and controls, preferably with practice training and a process improvement mindset.
What We Offer
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000, plus bonus and career progression opportunities within a growing group. Hybrid working arrangement.
