Membership growth and member engagement is firmly embedded in our 2020-2030 Corporate Strategy and in our ten-year membership growth and support strategy - GROWPLAN. It's an exciting time to join the RTPI and lead the membership team as we review and develop our membership strategy and the Member Value Proposition. We are looking for a Head of Membership, reporting into the Chief Membership Officer, to lead the development of the membership function to meet the RTPI's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for leading three sub-teams: membership engagement, membership operations and the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) In this role you will be developing and implementing membership strategies, across the UK and internationally, to drive growth in membership numbers and revenue; ensuring membership services and benefits are relevant and delivered in the most effective manner; and leading on the professional standards for entry to membership through the APC. You will have experience of leading a membership team in a professional membership body, or extensive experience at a management position in a membership function. As a strategic thinker, you will have experience of developing and implementing membership recruitment, retention and engagement strategies. And as an experienced people manager, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
