Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Income Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southeast London. In this role you will proactively manage rent accounts to maximise income while supporting residents to sustain their tenancies through effective engagement and partnership working. Duties: Manage a caseload of rent accounts to maximise income and reduce arrears Engage with residents through calls, visits and interviews to support tenancy sustainment Take appropriate recovery action, including legal proceedings, in line with council policies Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and prevent rent arrears Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience of managing rent accounts, arrears recovery or income collection Experience of engaging with customers in challenging or sensitive situations Experience of working with internal teams and external partner organisations Experience of maintaining accurate records and working to policies, procedures and targets What's on offer: Salary: £26ph *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week How to apply: Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.
