Pharmacy Colleague – Birmingham
Location: Perry Barr
Employment Type: Part Time, Permanent. Shift Pattern: Days, 30 Hours per week. Pay Rate: £12.60.
Overview
Our stores run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We need a Pharmacy Colleague to work a flexible schedule with weekend availability.
Responsibilities
* Pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
* Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
* Promote additional pharmacy services, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
* Support the Pharmacist with patient services, including blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
* Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures.
* Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries and deliver them to customers for collection.
* Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months and then train as a Dispensing Assistant.

* Friendly, highly organised and ready to get started with the team.
* Good computer skills, attention to detail and strong customer communication.
