Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

We're looking for an exceptional Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our NoW MSK Service, within EECH. This is a high quality, patient-centered and innovative service. This role involves assisting the team with the treatment of patients with a wide range of MSK conditions. We provide comprehensive in-service training as well as peer supervision and dedicated problem solving slots.
Flexible hours are an option for this role. We are specifically looking for someone who is able to travel to different clinic sites across Norfolk, which will vary depending on service need.

Main duties of the job
You will contribute in the delivery of high standards of health care to patients with MSK conditions in clinics providing specialist MSK assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating packages of care. To manage own caseload, which may include complex patients.

Norfolk and Waveney Community Musculoskeletal Services (NoW MSK) is a collaborative service between East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust, and East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH), providing MSK services to patients within Norfolk and Waveney.
The NoW MSK Service's team comprises: Extended Scope Practitioners, First Contact Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Specialist Hand therapy Occupational Therapists, Specialist Biomechanics Podiatrists and MSK Assistant Practitioners.
We provide First Contact Practitioners from within our overall MSK structure. We work out of various venues, including health centres, GP surgeries, community hospitals and leisure centres.

Job responsibilities
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* To assess and prescribe care packages for patients with complex MSK conditions, to achieve quality of life and independence where possible.
* Assessments and treatments will take the form of face to face or virtual consultations to enhance patient access to our services.
* To work with all health care professionals and statutory/non statutory agencies to provide a seamless integrated service to our service users.
* Work when needed in a variety of locations including lone working.
* Engage with System One Optimisation.
* Engage with referral to discharge standard processes.
* To be aware of the demand and capacity model which will reflect workload needs at any given time.

Person Specification
Skills Abilities and Knowledge
* Evidence of having worked at a relevant level
* Demonstrate Tact and Diplomacy
* Work flexibly to accommodate patient/service needs
* Ability to use own initiative
* Good observational & reporting skills
* Demonstrate good IT and standard keyboard skills
* Ability to communicate in English Language, both written and verbal forms

* Concentrate when undertaking patient care & inputting data / patient records
* Evidence of good team working
* Knowledge of additional specialist areas through in-house training and short courses
Qualifications
* Diploma or 1st level degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent experience
* Current HCPC registration
* Evidence of specialist MSK knowledge and skills acquired through post graduate courses attended
* Previous MSK experience
* Clinical Educators Course
* Evidence of experience working within the NHS
Personal Qualities
* The ability to kneel, bend & stoop
* The ability to manoeuvre limbs of around 5-6kg
* Ability to travel to all sites/ hold UK driving licence
