The Role: We're looking for an experienced Mid-Level Motion Designer/Editor to join our talented team! We're an award-winning creative agency based at our Sea Containers Office in London, renowned for delivering exceptional marketing and advertising solutions. As part of our Social team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work across social and digital platforms, focusing on iconic brands such as Samsung, Google, and Coors. Get ready to collaborate with our talented Creative Leads and make your mark on high-profile campaigns with a significant impact. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of creating visually captivating motion design content that leaves a lasting impression. With a strong emphasis on Social platforms, you'll showcase your expertise in both motion design and editing to ensure the highest quality in all our deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the wider team to develop visually captivating motion design content for brands such as Samsung, Coors, and Google Pixel. Utilize industry-standard software, including Adobe After Effects and Premier, to create high-quality motion design videos. Edit and splice TV campaigns, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining brand consistency. Work on video content for paid media campaigns, adapting to platform-specific digital formats. Implement modular creative strategies, adapting master copies to cater to different target audiences. Integrate content from various sources and components, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing end product. Provide leadership and mentorship to other motion designers within the C2 Studios team. Take initiative and bring energy and creativity to projects, pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional work. Analyse visual prototypes and provide valuable insights to enhance the quality and effectiveness of motion design projects. Collaborate with our creatives leads, to bring their visions to life. Meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and adhering to brand guidelines. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion design and video editing to continuously improve skills and deliver cutting-edge work. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables. Contribute to the success of the agency delivering outstanding results and exceeding client expectations. Requirements: Proven experience: A track record of working as a motion designer and editor in a creative agency or similar environment, showcasing a strong portfolio of visually captivating motion design projects. Motion design expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premier and Cinema 4D, with a deep understanding of motion design principles, animation techniques, and visual storytelling. Working knowledge of Sony camera systems, Ingesting and managing footage on site advantageous. Video editing skills: Ability to edit and splice video content, ensuring seamless transitions, pacing, and overall cohesiveness. Ability to tell a story. Strong knowledge of video editing software is essential. Brand experience: Previous experience working on high-profile brands. Experience with 3D animation and rendering workflows. Good understanding of video compression, formatting, and delivery specifications across various digital and social media platforms. Solid understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to work within established brand identities, ensuring consistency across all motion design and video deliverables. Digital and social media expertise: Proficient in creating content optimized for digital and social media platforms, understanding platform-specific requirements and best practices. Creativity and flair: A keen eye for detail, strong artistic sensibility, and the ability to infuse projects with energy, creativity, and a unique visual style. Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a creative team, collaborating with Creative Leads, designers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life and deliver exceptional work. Time management and meeting deadlines: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Software proficiency: Proficiency in additional software and tools relevant to motion design and video editing, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, to enhance workflow and create high-quality deliverables. Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members and clients. Creative problem-solving: A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to find innovative solutions and overcome challenges during the creative process. Attention to brand guidelines: A solid understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to work within established brand identities, ensuring consistency across all motion design deliverables. Knowledge of current industry trends: Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in motion design and video editing, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and innovation. Analytical mindset: Ability to analyse visual prototypes, provide valuable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize motion design projects for maximum impact and effectiveness.
