Job Description
* Contract Type: Permanent – 35 or 25 Hours Per Week
* Days of Work: 25 Hour Contract - Tuesday to Saturday OR 35 Hour Contract - Sunday to Thursday
* Hours of Work: 25 Hour Contract - 03:30 - 08:30 OR 35 Hour Contract - 03:30 - 10:00
This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
Key Duties Include:
* Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
* Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
* Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
* Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
* Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
* Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
* Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
