TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with an excellent private day nursery based in Leeds LS7. The team at this nursery are passionate about supporting the young children in their care. The nursery plan activities for the children based on their current interests both inside and outside of the setting, and create exciting activities to stimulate the children’s interests and encourages them to try new things and learn new skills.
The nursery is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to start on a full-time contractual basis. The successful applicant will help support children with different areas of development such as communication and language, as well as independence and confidence. The successful Early Years Practitioner will join the current team at this nursery in providing the best possible care for the children within the setting, ensuring that children are safe and supported, especially whilst settling in and getting used to the nursery routine.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:
Previous experience working within the Early Years Sector and/or caring for children aged 5 and under
A minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
Up-to-date knowledge of current Safeguarding policies and procedures.
