The Role You'll be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations.
The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines.
Depending on your experience level, you'll be: Operating CNC sliding or fixed head machines Setting machines (if experienced or keen to develop) Working to tight tolerances on high-precision components Reading and working from engineering drawings Using micrometres and precision measuring equipment Supporting high-volume production output Working with tooling and fixtures This is a production-focused environment where quality and consistency matters every time. xxuwjjq
Machinery & Controls You may have experience with: Citizen sliding head machines Star sliding head machines Tsugami machines CNC fixed head lathes Controls include: Fanuc Siemens Mitsubishi Fanuc experience is particularly desirable, but other systems will be considered if you can demonstrate CNC competence.
