Role Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities & Operations Coordinator to join our Facilities and Trading Operations Team at Jensten. This blended role offers support for our UK office facilities and contributions to broader strategic business operations. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, keen attention to detail, and a background in administration or operations.
This position is based in Huntingdon, with bi-weekly travel to London and occasional travel across nearly 60 UK locations, with some flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Responsibilities (Supportive):
* Assist with Health & Safety activities.
* Coordinate scheduling of maintenance and remedial work.
* Manage office logistics and maintenance requests.
* Organize facilities training sessions and maintain records.
* Update facilities trackers and documents.
* Support equipment ordering and signage logistics.
* Provide administrative support for facilities processes.
Operations Responsibilities:
* Support strategic project delivery.
* Monitor initiatives and contribute to project management.
* Drive high-performance across trading businesses.
* Provide feedback on products, marketing, and development.
* Assist with reporting and analysis for Trading Operations.
* Identify operational weaknesses and escalate issues.
* Stay informed on ongoing Retail Operations initiatives.
About You:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, with a strong administrative background, preferably in operations or support roles. Experience in coordinating business processes, data handling in Excel, and managing multiple priorities is essential. Effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and a proactive approach to operational efficiency are key. Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus but not necessary.
