Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
We are looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Shield Veterinary Centre.

You’ll be working across two branches, just a 15-minute drive apart, with an exciting opportunity to train as a Clinical Coach, supporting the development of future veterinary nurses.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent all-round nursing skills and a strong passion for animal care. As an enthusiastic and pro-active team member, you\'ll seamlessly integrate into our team, supporting colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for managing tasks efficiently while interacting with both the team and clients.
About Us
Our team is made up of 5 Vets, 9 Nurses, and 8 Receptionists, working collaboratively across two well-equipped branches. Our nursing team offers a mix of experience from newly qualified RVNs to those with over 15 years in practice, creating a supportive and knowledge-rich environment.
Location and Working Hours
Situated between Southampton and Portsmouth, our practices are ideally located with easy rail links to London and access to the South Coast, New Forest, and nearby beaches. The role is full-time at 40 hours per week, typically four 8.5-hour shifts and one 5-hour shift, with a fixed afternoon off each week. There is a Saturday morning rota of 1 in 4.
