As a radiographer, you will provide high quality, effective imaging services within Cardiac CT at Cromwell Hospital in West London. You will report to the Superintendent Radiographer and work as part of the multi‑disciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care.
The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital with 180 beds, 6 theatres, full intensive care facilities and a dedicated day‑surgery unit. It houses a flagship Siemens Somatom CT scanner with flash and dual‑energy capabilities, and a new state‑of‑the‑art imaging suite in the upcoming Lexham Gardens building.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality CT imaging for a wide range of examinations, including full‑body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures.
* Create and maintain positive working relationships with Diagnostic Imaging Department staff and with referring clinicians and other hospital departments.
* Operate the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS systems and document patient examinations accurately.
* Report accidents or untoward occurrences to the Superintendent Radiographer and record incidents in accordance with hospital policy.
* Adopt and enforce Health and Safety at Work Act requirements and other safety regulations to protect patients, visitors and colleagues.
Qualifications
* BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential).
* Substantial experience with CT Cardiac imaging (essential).
* Ability to work under pressure, direct and achieve results.
* Organised and meticulous.
