Description Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and review stock reports Account Reconciliations Fixed asset and lease accounting and maintenance of Fixed Asset register Fuel invoices & Private Mileage cost posting and monitoring Credit Card cost posting and ensuring correct support and VAT accounting Petty Cash and Store cash posting and monitoring Expenses posting and monitoring Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings Purchase Ledger supervision: Oversee a team of two in processing supplier invoices. Supplier Master data maintenance Ensuring the team have all invoices posted on time and accurately Ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner Ensuring payment runs pay due invoices on time and maximise supplier discounts Reconciliation of supplier accounts/inter-company accounts/statementsProfile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. AAT Studier Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. (SAP Beneficial) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a busy finance environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
