Role Overview As the Interim Operations Manager, you will be fully accountable for operational leadership during a critical period of transition. Your focus will be on cultural transformation, process optimisation, and brand development, ensuring the business is energised, efficient, and primed for sales growth post-merger. You will act as a change agent, embedding best practices, improving workflows, and fostering a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Merger Support Lead day-to-day operations with full accountability for performance during the merger. Ensure smooth integration of processes, systems, and teams across merging entities. Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational change. Cultural Transformation & Engagement Re-energise the business by fostering a positive, high-performance culture. Drive employee engagement, ensuring teams remain motivated and aligned during transition. Champion change management initiatives to embed new ways of working. Process Improvement & Sales Growth Enablement Review and optimise key operational processes to remove inefficiencies and support scalability. Implement best practices to enhance productivity, cost control, and customer responsiveness. Work closely with sales teams to ensure operational processes enable accelerated revenue growth. Brand Development & Market Positioning Support the evolution and promotion of the companys brand in the renewable energy sector. Ensure operational excellence reinforces the companys reputation for quality and reliability. Collaborate with leadership on strategic messaging and market positioning. Experience & Skills Required Proven experience as an Operations Manager (or similar) in a fast-paced, preferably technical/product-driven environment (renewable energy, manufacturing, or engineering sectors desirable). Growth and sales focussed background, with a strategic approach. Strong background in leading cultural change, process improvement, and operational turnaround. Experience in merger integration, restructuring, or business transformation projects. Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from shop floor to boardroom. Commercially astute with a focus on enabling sales growth. Resilient, hands-on leader who thrives in an interim capacity.
