We are currently looking for Youth Workers who are eager to gain valuable experience working in SEND schools across Wallasey. This is an excellent opportunity to transfer your existing skills into an educational setting while making a meaningful difference to young people’s lives.
The Role:
1. Supporting pupils with behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
2. Working with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
3. Acting as a positive role model and mentor
4. Supporting classroom activities and school routines
5. Helping pupils develop confidence and social skills
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. A background in youth work, mentoring, or community support
7. Experience supporting young people with behavioural or emotional needs
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
9. A flexible and proactive approach
10. An interest in transitioning into education-based roles
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
