THE ROLE
Where the brand/license exists:
1. Responsible for flawless execution of brand vis-id and equity; from design of packaging through in-store to hero media assets (TV/Beauty visuals/Hero in-store visuals/OLV) to social content.
2. Ensuring all omnichannel touch points adhere to and convey the license brand equity and vis-ID, and ‘work hard’ to create growth for brand.
3. Work in close partnership with SVP Creative, and also in collaboration with brand team and creative producer across all assets.
4. Partner with third parties outside of Coty where creative is not serviced internally.
New Licenses/New fragrance concepts:
5. Responsible for fast & agile creation of strategic concept areas bought to life in outline pack design, and both strategic and visual storytelling used in early license discussions and initial testing of concept areas.
6. Lead on pack design development, partnering with third parties outside Coty.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Knowledge and Experience:
7. Deep beauty expertise in fragrance & personal care, with a large emphasis on an elevated prestige aesthetic.
8. Highly experienced and comfortable working with A-list celebrity talent, top level director and photography talent.
9. A craftsman and a creative brand builder at heart - motivated by what works and is effective in creating growth within fragrance /body care.
10. Insists on flawless exquisite execution of work - not ‘just ok’.
11. TikTok obsessed. Social Media Savvy. Culturally plugged in.
12. Global operator - sensitive with a strong understanding of design market needs – an experienced operator with ability to manage the healthy tension between local and global teams.
13. Well connected within UK/EU creative and production circles.
14. Capable of working independently to create layouts, color treatments, retouch, story boards and rough edits if needed.
15. Ability to work in agile way, managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously. Happy to roll sleeves up and get involved.
16. Capable and comfortable dealing with brand team on the complex and ever-changing demands of the day-to-day business with patience and adaptability.
17. Ability to partner with an embryonic small team of design (packaging & in-store) and scale creative team on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
Required skills:
18. Well versed in UK/EU/Global mass fragrance and body care.
19. Excellent Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) skills.
20. Digitally literate and culturally plugged in.
21. Active interest in Gen AI a bonus as alternative production models will be used going forward.
22. Able to travel, globally.
