Job Title: Pipefitter

Project: Various onshore Projects - Pending Project Award

Location: Grimsby/Hull/Immingham areas

Worley is currently recruiting for Pipefitters for fixed term contracts.

We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join our onshore project teams.

Key Aims And Objectives

1. To perform all required pipefitting tasks safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications.
2. To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent pipefitting service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures.
3. To support the overall delivery of company goals and schedule.
4. To ensure all work scope is completed in a safe manner, ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment.

Role Requirements

1. Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring that the piping / assembly work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.
2. Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor.
3. Manufacture, installation, and testing of pipes and pipe supports in accordance with drawings/sketches and specifications.
4. Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches.
5. Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
6. Provide timely feedback to supervisor or plant operator on ongoing status or completion of the task.
7. Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits.
8. Sign on to applicable permit to work (PTW) to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner.
9. Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) to complete work scope safely.
10. Adhere to all applicable company policies, working practices and procedures as communicated by the company from time to time.

All Candidates Should Hold The Following Qualifications & Certification

1. Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ equivalent.
2. City and Guilds (C&G) in Pipework Erection, Pipework Fabrication and / or NVQ Level 3 in related trade.
3. CCNSG safety passport.
4. Full UK Driving Licence.

Ideally, Candidates Will Also Have The Following Experience

1. Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
2. Demonstrate commitment to working safely at all times.
3. Flexible – able to comply with company and client requirements.
4. Ability to work with other team members/disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment.
5. Confident and able to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
6. Desire to learn and develop within the role.
7. Experience in development works and pressure testing preferred.
