The company is seeking an organised and motivated Property Administrator / Marketing Assistant to join its team in Hitchin. This position blends property administration with marketing responsibilities and is ideal for someone with prior experience in the property sector.
Key Responsibilities
Property Administration
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and enquiries from landlords, tenants, and contractors
* Preparing tenancy documentation, contracts, and ensuring compliance paperwork is completed
* Maintaining accurate property and tenant records
* Arranging viewings, inspections, and coordinating maintenance works
* Liaising with contractors and monitoring progress of maintenance tasks
* Supporting rent records and assisting with general office administration
Marketing & Listings
* Creating and managing property listings across online portals
* Writing clear and engaging property descriptions
* Uploading and managing property photographs and marketing materials
* Assisting with social media and digital marketing activities
* Ensuring all marketing platforms are kept up to date
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of one year’s experience in property administration
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident use of Microsoft Office and property management systems
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable Experience
* Experience with property marketing or social media
* Knowledge of UK lettings regulations
* Local knowledge of Hitchin or the wider Hertfordshire area
