Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic systems on commercial, and industrial sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions while developing technical expertise in the solar industry. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.
Duties
* Installing solar panels and associated mounting systems on rooftops and ground-mounted sites
* Assembling and securing structural components using hand tools and power tools
* Connecting electrical wiring and components in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
* Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience
* Previous experience with electrical systems or mechanical installation is highly desirable but not required
* Must have cscs card
* PPE required (boots, hat & hvis)
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools
* A valid UK driving licence is beneficial for travel between sites but no required.
