RESTAURANT MANAGER - BUSY RETAIL OUTLET - NEAR FARNHAM - UP TO £43,000 STARTING SALARY

We’re currently supporting the recruitment of a Restaurant Manager for a popular, high-footfall restaurant located within a large, well-established retail outlet near Farnham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused and people-driven manager to take ownership of a busy daytime-only restaurant. With a counter-service offer focused on quality breakfast and lunch options, the site trades 7 days a week between 9am and 5pm (reduced hours Sundays) and is a key part of the customer experience.
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end operation of the restaurant, leading a team of 20+ and ensuring exceptional standards across food, service, and environment.
Key responsibilities include:
·Leading, developing and inspiring the front- and back-of-house teams
·Managing budgets, stock, and cost control to deliver profitable performance
·Overseeing food quality, safety, and presentation standards at all times
·Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team members
·Working closely with the wider site leadership team and contributing to strategic decisions
·Driving a culture of compliance, service, and continuous improvement
We’re looking for a confident and capable operator with a background in high-volume, branded or commercial food service environments.
You’ll ideally have:
·Experience managing teams of 20+ in a food-led business
·Experience in managing a business of circa £1.5m per annum
·Strong understanding of stock control, budgeting and cost management
·A clear, up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety and food hygiene standards
·A passion for developing teams and creating great customer experiences
·A hands-on, commercially minded approach with the ability to lead from the front
