About The Role
At EKFB, we’re shaping infrastructure for a better tomorrow. Our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM) bring expertise in designing, constructing, operating, financing, and maintaining railway networks, including a high-speed rail project in Europe.
We are seeking a Rail Systems Discipline Lead to join our Routewide team based in Milton Keynes.
This role involves managing the technical rail systems interface with the client across key areas such as Rail Systems (Track, OCS, traction power, signalling, telecoms), Asset management, System safety, Interoperability, and Security (including fencing).
You will chair client interface meetings, maintain relevant management plans, and manage agreements related to rail systems designs and changes, collaborating with other technical disciplines.
The role also includes leading the management and assessment of technical changes requested by the client, maintaining relationships with subject matter experts, and liaising with handover teams to ensure timely project completion.
You will lead the strategy for construction phase O&M manual production, optimize production processes, track interoperability compliance, and contribute to resolving review process issues. Ensuring threat and vulnerability risk assessments are updated due to design changes is also part of your responsibilities.
