The Role You’ll Play As a Senior Business Analyst at Playlist, you’ll help shape strategy through rigorous analysis, experimentation, and clear storytelling. Your work will surface actionable insights that influence pricing, packaging, segmentation, and broader business decisions across the wellness space. Successful candidates will possess an intense curiosity about data patterns and how the best way to leverage insights. They should be able to distill complex ideas to stakeholders of all levels of technical fluency. Conduct causal inference, unit economics, and audience segmentation analyses to guide business decisions and drive measurable change. Build and maintain functional dashboards that highlight key micro and macro trends across the Wellness ecosystem. Design and evaluate experiments (A/B testing) to support pricing strategies and product packaging recommendations. Develop scalable, accurate SQL models that integrate data from production, business, and third-party sources. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy to translate data into action. Create and refine new data models with a focus on interpretability, scalability, and long-term value. Experience You Bring 3 years of experience in business analytics or business intelligence. Strong business acumen with a knack for translating insights into impactful decisions. Proven experience engaging with stakeholders, decision-makers, or clients. Excellent communication skills—able to clearly explain findings both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests. Strong SQL skills with experience building models and queries from scratch. Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker preferred). Bachelor’s degree preferred. Deep intellectual curiosity and a passion for uncovering insights. Highly self-directed, able to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
