Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds This is a Team Leader position with a leading UK law firm overseeing a team of four individuals. Moving forward, the team will be responsible for managing all birth injury cases, with an anticipated increase of approximately 300 cases over the next 12 months. As a result, the team is expected to expand to accommodate this increased workload. This firm is a specialist in Clinical Negligence and it is seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in making strategic decisions regarding case progression and overseeing the overall team.Please note this can be a heavy remote based role with a Leeds office base.Main Responsibilities:
Lead the team to achieve its objectives and maintain high performance standardsManage all aspects of team members, including people managementEnsure the legal and technical elements of case conduct are upheld to the highest standards of efficiency, integrity and customer careCollaborate effectively with other Team Leaders and the Head of Department to ensure standardisation of approach, seamless case transitions and strong teamwork
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or equivalent experience managing Clinical Negligence casesPrevious supervisory or management experienceFamiliarity with Proclaim or another case management systemProven commercial thinking and decision-making in a legal environmentStrong time management and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience in training and mentoring junior or new team members
