Job Title: Employment Advisor
The role of Employment Advisor requires a tenacious, highly organised, motivating, and innovative individual. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to support people with multiple barriers to move into sustainable employment.
Our Employment Advisors are highly self-motivated individuals who manage a caseload of participants to empower them into sustained employment. With a positive 'can-do' attitude, they excel at building and maintaining exceptional relationships through reverse marketing with a variety of employers, community organisations, and stakeholders, promoting the benefits of work while always prioritising the participant's needs.
Employment Advisors operate in a dynamic environment, demonstrating daily prioritisation and time management skills to ensure effective caseload management, meeting deadlines, and achieving KPI and target expectations within community settings.
Minimum Requirements
* Over 2 years of experience in a target-driven environment
* Experience managing a caseload of participants facing various barriers to employment, such as health, wellbeing, or skills issues
* Experience working with external stakeholders, including employers, local authorities, health services, or voluntary sector organisations, to provide excellent customer progression routes
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve service delivery KPIs, targets, and outcomes
* Engage with participants referred to the Restart programme, assess their support and development needs, and co-produce action plans for sustainable employment
* Update the database system in real-time to record quality interventions and utilise reporting and management information effectively
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders to support participant development at all stages of their journey to employment, including Jobcentre Plus, employers, and community organisations, ensuring support is non-duplicative
* Provide in-work support to help individuals maintain employment, identifying and mitigating risks to sustainment
* Manage caseload independently and effectively by organising a varied schedule of activities, including one-on-one meetings, job clubs, group sessions, and innovative interventions tailored to participants' needs
