Finance Assistant

Agility are delighted to present an exciting new opportunity for a talented finance assistant looking for their next career move.
Our client supplies to some of the UKs best known household brands and prides themselves on the quality of their product as well as the service they provide to their clients.
In this role it will be your responsibility to support the department with the necessary service standard as well as communicating effectively and regularly with other people within the company. You will also be required to answer the phones in a professional manor and deal with any queries accordingly.
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
* Credit Control - assisting when required
* Dealing with customer and supplier queries
* Complying with procedures and processes within financial function
* Filing of supplier invoices
* Assist in maintain asset registers
* Vehicle tracking salesman`s business and personal miles
* Comply to all set timescales and deadlines
* Cover staff for holidays, sickness ect
The successful candidate will:
* Have practical experience with Accountancy systems (preferably Sage 50)
* Have strong IT skills - particularly Microsoft Excel
* Be able to work off your own initiative
* Have strong communication skills
* Be able to work well in a team
* Have the ability to analyse `ad hoc` data reports
